As we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, let us be thankful for what we do have this year. May we all pray that others find great joy and comfort in the hope and salvation that Jesus Christ has offered each one of us.
Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, is in the West Bank, and has been a deserted ghost town since the Israeli-Palestinian war started. Billions around the world have nothing but the clothing on their body, and hope and prayers in their hearts that their children may have a better life than themselves.
My youngest daughter (she's 2 years old, but wise beyond her years), insisted to my mother-in-law that she buy Jesus a birthday cake since it's His birthday, and that we have to sing to Him tomorrow. Sounds like a new beautiful tradition!
Remind your children, however you celebrate, and whenever you think His birth was, that the birth of Jesus Christ was, is, and will always be, an immense Blessing on humanity for eternity. His love is the kind of love that is never extinguished. He endures forever and ever more.
God bless each and every one of you 🙏🏻
